CASUAL HOUSEKEEPERS WANTED

Work in beautiful homes. Enjoy the Hinterland. Be rewarded for doing a great job

Above Award Rates | Flexible Casual Hours | Training & Equipment Provided

Do you have a great work ethic and an exceptional eye for detail? Are you someone who takes genuine pride in cleanliness, loves everything looking just right and enjoys working in beautiful surroundings?

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and conscientious Casual Housekeepers to join our growing housekeeping team servicing premium Airbnb and short-term accommodation properties throughout the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

We are a high-end commercial laundry and housekeeping business committed to delivering an exceptionally high standard of service. We believe that presentation matters, the little details make all the difference, and our housekeepers play an important role in creating memorable guest experiences.

If you love a beautifully presented home, have a fantastic work ethic and enjoy a role where no two days are quite the same, we'd love to hear from you

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for preparing beautiful holiday homes between guest stays, ensuring every property is spotlessly clean, fresh, welcoming and ready for the arrival of its next guests.

Your duties will include:

- Stripping beds and making beds with fresh, beautifully presented linen.

- Thoroughly cleaning bathrooms, kitchens and living areas.

- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping and general housekeeping.

- Ensuring kitchens, bathrooms and all surfaces are hygienic and immaculate.

- Checking property presentation and attending to those little details that make a difference.

- Preparing homes to our high presentation standards for incoming guests.

- Identifying and reporting any maintenance issues, damage or items requiring attention.

We don't just want someone who can clean. We want someone who understands what it means to prepare a home as though they were welcoming guests into their own.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Personality,

attitude and work ethic are more important to us than formal cleaning qualifications.

Our ideal housekeepers will be:

- Exceptional attention to detail – you notice the little things others might overlook.

- Naturally particular about cleanliness – hygiene and presentation are important to you.

- Reliable and conscientious – when you commit to a shift, we can count on you.

- Hardworking and self-motivated – you take ownership of your work and don't need to be constantly supervised.

- Proud of what you do – you enjoy leaving a property looking absolutely beautiful.

- Flexible and adaptable – you understand that short-term accommodation operates around guest bookings.

- Positive and friendly – you bring a great attitude to the workplace and enjoy being part of a team.

Previous housekeeping, commercial cleaning, hotel or Airbnb experience is advantageous, but not essential. We are happy to train the right people who have the attitude and work ethic we are looking for.

HOURS & SCHEDULING

This is a casual position with hours varying according to guest bookings and property requirements.

We understand that flexibility works both ways, which is why we schedule staff shifts up to one month in advance, allowing you to plan your life around your work.

Additional shifts are also offered throughout the month as recent bookings come through.

A few things to know:

- Most cleaning shifts take place during normal weekday business hours.

- Weekend and public holiday cleans are very rare.

- Our busiest periods are during Queensland school holidays, particularly Christmas, Easter and other peak holiday periods.

- Availability during school holiday periods is essential.

- Flexibility to accommodate varying workloads is important.

This role would suit someone looking for flexible casual work who can commit to their scheduled shifts and enjoys being part of a reliable, supportive team.
