We're partnering with a well-established aged care provider to recruit an experienced Clinical Manager for a large residential aged care home in Coolum Beach.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of clinical operations across a large home, lead and develop a substantial clinical team, and work closely with the Facility Manager to drive high standards of care and resident outcomes.
About the Role
As Clinical Manager and 2IC, you'll play a key role in the overall leadership of the home, with responsibility for clinical governance, team leadership, compliance and quality outcomes.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading, mentoring and developing a large team of RNs, ENs and Care Staff
- Overseeing clinical governance, care delivery, quality and compliance
- Driving continuous improvement and supporting accreditation readiness
- Monitoring clinical outcomes and ensuring high standards of resident care
- Building strong relationships with residents, families and key stakeholders
- Supporting workforce planning, reporting and day-to-day operations
- Working closely with the Facility Manager on the overall performance of the home
- Acting as a key clinical leader and 2IC when required
About You
We're looking for an experienced aged care clinical leader who is confident leading a larger team and operating in a complex residential setting.
You'll bring:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (required)
- Previous experience as a Clinical Manager, Care Manager, NUM or similar (required)
- Strong knowledge of Australian aged care legislation, quality standards and clinical governance
- Experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams
- Strong understanding of clinical risk, compliance and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A genuine commitment to resident-centred care
