About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Workers to join our team on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. You will play a vital role in supporting individuals to maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life within their own homes and communities.

The role is predominantly focused on personal care, requiring empathy, professionalism, and a genuine desire to make a difference. We offer extensive training, so while experience or a relevant qualification is preferred, we encourage all passionate individuals to apply. Covering both morning and night hours, offering flexibility and variety.

Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive personal care assistance, including showering, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Administer and support clients with Bowel Therapy.
- Support clients with daily living activities, such as light household tasks, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
- Maintain a respectful,



skilled, and empathetic approach at all times, ensuring client dignity and privacy.

Qualifications

- Hold a valid Driver's Licence and have your own reliable vehicle.
- Demonstrated ability or willingness to be trained and confidently perform Bowel Therapy.
- Previous experience in a Personal Care role or a relevant qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Individual Support) is preferred, but not essential as extensive training will be provided.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient approach.
- Willingness to work a fixed fortnightly roster.
- Must possess or be willing to obtain a current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check.
