About the Role

As an Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health of our company. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Assisting with the preparation of month-end accounts, yearly budgets and accounting policies

- Generate financial reports for the Director and Shareholders

- Liaising with an external accounting firm for yearly accounts and tax issues

- Involved in providing financial and tax advice on business structure, plans, and future growth

- Reconciliation of all accounts





- Payroll processing

- Managing the accounts receivable, alerting management about any problems

- Managing cash flow

- Maintaining accounting system (XERO)

- BAS/FBT returns.

- Compliance, maintenance and improvement of accounting policies

- Ensuring the accuracy of the information contained within the financial reports

- Maintenance of client and supplier databases

What We’re Looking For To succeed in this role, you should possess:

- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- CPA/CA qualification (or working towards it) is highly desirable.

- At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.

- Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB) and MS Excel.

- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
