responsibilities Prepare financial statements in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards. Prepare and review individual, partnership, trust, company, and self-managed superannuation fund (SMSF) tax returns. Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS).

Maintain general ledgers and perform account reconciliations. Assist clients with budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and business planning. Analyse financial performance and provide recommendations to improve business outcomes.

Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office and other regulatory authorities. Support compliance, audit preparation, and reporting requirements. Provide high-quality accounting and taxation services to a diverse client base.

Qualification &

experience Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related discipline. Minimum 3 years' relevant accounting experience.



Solid understanding of Australian taxation legislation and accounting standards.

Experience using Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software. Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple client deadlines. Desirable CPA Australia or CA ANZ membership (or actively working towards qualification). Public practice accounting experience.

Experience working with small business and rural clients.
