MEGT has an exciting prospect to join one of our clients, working alongside experienced electricians across a range of hot water and electrification projects throughout Melbourne.
About the role
You'll build on your existing electrical experience while developing your practical skills across a range of residential electrification projects.
Your responsibilities will include
Installing power points and electrical connections for hot water systems.
Installing and connecting dedicated electrical circuits, circuit breakers and switchboard components.
Running, terminating and connecting electrical cables and sensor wiring.
Assisting with electrical installations, maintenance and fault finding.
Reading and following electrical plans and technical instructions.
Using hand and power tools safely while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
What we're looking for
Currently undertaking a 2nd or 3rd Year Electrical Apprenticeship .
Previous hands-on experience in the electrical industry.
A genuine interest in developing your skills within the electrification industry.
Motivated, reliable and committed to completing your apprenticeship.
Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
Comfortable with physical work and manual handling.
Current White Card.
Ability to travel to various job sites across Melbourne.
