The Opportunity

- Location: Croydon, South London

- Position: Advanced Nurse Practitioner

- Salary: Up to £70,000 pro rata

- Hours: 21 hours per week

- Working days: Wednesday, Friday and Saturday

- Contract: Permanent

- Setting: Urgent and primary care

Your Role

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, independently assessing and managing patients presenting with a broad range of acute and urgent healthcare needs.

Your responsibilities will include

- Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments and consultations.

- Assessing, diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute illnesses and minor conditions.

- Managing patients presenting with undifferentiated symptoms.

- Developing appropriate treatment plans and prescribing medication where qualified.

- Requesting and interpreting diagnostic investigations.

- Identifying red flags and recognising when escalation or referral is required.

- Making appropriate referrals to secondary care and other healthcare services.

- Providing clear safety-netting advice and ensuring effective patient follow-up.

- Working collaboratively with GPs,



nurses, paramedics and the wider multidisciplinary team.

Who We're Looking For

We are keen to hear from:
- Qualified Advanced Nurse Practitioners.

- Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACPs).

- Experienced Paramedic Practitioners with advanced clinical training.

Applicants should ideally have
- Current NMC or HCPC registration, as applicable.

- Relevant postgraduate advanced clinical practice qualifications.

- Independent prescribing qualification (V300) where required for the role.

- Experience managing acute presentations and undifferentiated patients.

- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic and decision-making skills.

- Confidence working autonomously within a multidisciplinary environment.

- Previous experience in primary care, urgent care, UTC or emergency care.
