Talented Architectural Draftsperson required to work on a combination of commercial and retail projects at lovely interior design studio

This boutique high end interior studio produces some of the most custom projects in Australia. They are looking for a strong technical architect with strong local knowledge of codes and compliance to join their team.

Key responsibilities

- Contribute to high-quality retail stores and be committed to the creation of interiors that are timeless
- Work as part of a team of talented interior designers
- Construction documentation for high end projects
- Ensure designs are BCA compliant, coordinate services, organise approval applications, programming and assist with documentation
- Work across commercial/retail fit out projects

Skills and experience

- Proven skilled experience in residential, commercial or retail projects, minimum 4-5 years working experience in local practice
- Retail or commercial experience highly desirable
- Strong ArchiCAD, SketchUp and Creative Suite skills
- The ability to produce full construction documentation
- Strong all-round designer with a good design eye
- Excellent communication skills
- Contract management knowledge would be beneficial
