A high-profile Federal Government department is seeking a Junior Program / Project Coordinator to provide project coordination, governance, reporting and administrative support across a major ICT modernisation program. The successful Junior Program / Project Coordinator will support the effective delivery of projects and program initiatives, working closely with project teams and stakeholders to maintain schedules, manage risks and ensure compliance with established project management and governance standards.
The successful Junior Program / Project Coordinator will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Developing and maintaining key project documentation and foundational artefacts.
Developing, managing and tracking project schedules and delivery activities.
Identifying,
monitoring and actively managing project risks.
Supporting compliance with established project management standards and frameworks.
The successful Junior Program / Project Coordinator will have experience in the following:
Demonstrated experience supporting or managing ICT projects from inception through to completion, with a focus on delivering to agreed timeframes, scope and budgets.
Solid coordination and leadership skills, with experience working across diverse and cross-functional project teams.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all organisational levels.
Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and manage risks, overcome delivery challenges and align project activities with business objectives.
