We're looking for an Assistant Showroom Manager to join our Balgowlah team with an asap start time. You'll work alongside our Showroom Manager to run a beautiful showroom, lead and coach the team, and create an experience that keeps customers coming back.

MCM House designs beautiful, modern furniture inspired by the relaxed, coastal Australian lifestyle, crafted from natural materials with a commitment to quality and thoughtful craftsmanship. We're growing, opening one to two new showrooms each year, which means real opportunities to grow with us.
The role
Full time, 38 hours a week, Tuesday to Saturday, based at our showroom on Balgowlah Road and reporting to the Showroom Manager. You will:
- Lead from the floor, delivering exceptional service and helping customers find the right pieces for their homes
- Coach the team and support them to hit sales targets
- Run the showroom day to day, from opening and closing to visual merchandising and stock
- Manage orders and deliveries, and resolve customer queries from purchase to delivery
- Step up to lead the showroom when the Showroom Manager is away
About you
- Experience in a retail leadership or supervisor role
- A strong sales record and a love of great customer service
- Confident coaching and engaging a team
- Organised, reliable and calm on a busy Saturday
- A bonus: experience in furniture, homewares, interiors or premium retail
