Barrenjoey Capital Partners The Associate Dealing Room Support Engineer is a hands-on technical role supporting the day-to-day technology needs of Barrenjoey’s trading floor users and beyond. This is an incredibly fast-paced and exciting role providing technical support to end users across the market facing businesses and beyond, while developing your technical skills and expertise.

Key responsibilities of this role will include the following: Provide first-line troubleshooting and support for laptops, desktops, virtual desktops, thin clients, dealer voice systems and peripheral hardware, along with their operating systems and software Assist with the deployment and maintenance of desktop infrastructure, including system upgrades, patch management, and software installations Work collaboratively with other team members and other teams to identify and resolve issues that impact end-user computing both at our Sydney HQ extending out into our global offices Maintain technical documentation, including standard operating procedures and support guides Follow corporate policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements in all end-user support activities Assist with managing and tracking corporate technology assets and maintaining accurate inventory records Contribute to improvements in end-user support workflows to ensure efficient and reliable user experience Participate in IT projects,



gaining exposure to desktop support requirements and implementation Assist in preparing reports on support metrics and process effectiveness Desirable skills and commercial experience Previous experience providing technical support to corporate end-users highly desirable Strong Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office knowledge required. Knowledge of trading applications such as Bloomberg, Iress, Flextrade desirable Active Directory, Intune, Powershell skills highly regarded Understanding of dealer voice platforms good to have Robust communication, interpersonal, customer service skills are imperative A keen interest in computing and a desire to help people will see you thrive in this role About Company Barrenjoey is a proudly Australian financial services firm.
