Victory Minerals Pty Ltd is a private, well-funded company that acquired the world renown Ballarat Gold mine in 2024 and has since invested approximately $125m into capital and growth of the project, significantly improving development and production at the same time. Mining is within what was historically the third highest Gold producing area in Australia (up until 1990) and consistently delivers approximately 30,000 to 40,000 ounces per annum with increased exploration rapidly growing potential for up to 60,000 to 80,000 ounces per annum.

Role:

We are currently seeking anexperienced Auto-Electrician to join the Mobile Plant Maintenance team. This is the perfect prospect to be close to home each night, or to get into Mining. This position reports to Mobile Plant Leading Hands.

Roster: 7:7, Day shift only 12-hour shifts

Hours: 7:00am to 7:00pm The purpose of this role is to:

- Perform servicing and preventative maintenance on Sandvik drills, Loaders, Trucks, Caterpillar Trucks and Loaders as well as various other types of heavy equipment and light vehicles;
- Rectify machinery breakdowns in surface workshop and underground mine environment;
- Complete safety assessments including JSA's, Step backs, Pre-starts, and Hazard identification




- Complete all shift paperwork including service sheets, work orders and daily shift reports.
- Report any faults requiring future work for preventative maintenance.

About You: The ideal candidate for this role will meet the following criteria:

- Auto Electrical trade certificate (essential) with experience in heavy & light vehicle maintenance;
- Automotive air conditioning licence is preferred, but not essential;
- Sound diagnostic & fault-finding skills;
- High standard and focus of safety with a strong team focus & work ethic;
- Effective communication & interpersonal skills and ability to work with minimal direct supervision;
- Commitment to a respectful and cooperative work environment;
- Ability to commit to a continuous 7 on, 7 off 12-hour roster;
- Previous experience in an underground mine environment is preferred, but not essential.
