We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer – .NET to join our team and contribute to a large-scale system migration programme.
The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience in .NET/C# backend development, REST APIs, SQL Server and file-based data migration, with the ability to build robust migration services and integrate systems through APIs, SFTP and batch processing.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in backend engineering, with strong .NET / C# development skills.
- Hands-on experience developing REST APIs and backend services.
- Strong SQL Server and SQL skills, including data extraction, transformation and reconciliation.
- Experience developing data migration scripts, utilities and migration services.
- Hands-on experience with SFTP-based file transfers, file ingestion and structured file processing.
- Experience integrating source and target systems using APIs, ETL and batch processing.
- Strong understanding of data validation, integrity, error handling and reconciliation.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Building .NET-based migration utilities, backend services and APIs.
- Developing SQL scripts to support large-scale data migration.
- Processing files received through SFTP and loading data into target systems.
- Developing and supporting ETL and batch interfaces.
- Performing data validation, reconciliation and troubleshooting migration issues.
- Supporting migration testing, rehearsals and production cutover activities.
