It bakes bread, pies, cakes and pastries fresh on site every day. A PLUS Australia Agency is managing this recruitment on behalf of the business.

We’re seeking an experienced, skilled Baker to join the team. You’ll produce a full range of bakery products to a consistently high standard, manage your own production schedule and help keep the bakery running smoothly from the early hours. You’ll report directly to the business owners.

responsibilities Prepare and bake a full range of bakery products, including breads, rolls, pies, pastries, cakes and slices. Measure, weigh and mix ingredients, and prepare doughs, fillings and toppings to recipe and quality standards. Operate and maintain bakery equipment, including mixers, dough sheeters, provers and ovens.

Monitor baking times and temperatures to make sure products are consistent. Plan daily production to meet customer demand and keep the display stocked. Develop new products and seasonal lines with the business owners.

Check the quality of ingredients and finished products, and keep wastage to a minimum.



Help with stock ordering, receiving deliveries and stock rotation. Keep work areas and equipment clean, and maintain food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards.

Train and support junior bakers and apprentices where needed. Qualification &

experience A Certificate III in Baking or an equivalent qualification, or relevant work experience as a qualified baker. At least two years of experience as a baker in a commercial or retail bakery. Strong knowledge of bread, pastry and cake production methods.

Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety practices. The ability to work independently, manage time well and meet production deadlines. Good attention to detail and a commitment to product quality.

Availability to work a roster that includes early mornings, weekends and public holidays.
