BAR ASSISTANT / GROUNDS SUPPORT - CASUAL POSITION

West Australian Gun Club (WAGC) - Whiteman Park The West Australian Gun Club is seeking a reliable and motivated Bar Assistant / Grounds Support Officer to join our team on a casual basis, primarily working Wednesday to Friday.

This varied role combines bar and clubhouse duties with operational support for the club's shooting activities.

Key Responsibilities

Bar & Clubhouse Duties

- Serve members and guests in a friendly and skilled manner

- Process cash and EFTPOS transactions

- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of bar and clubhouse areas

- Stock replenishment and basic food preparation as required

- Assist with club events and functions

Grounds & Operational Duties

- Load clay targets into trap houses as directed by the Bar Manager

- Assist with the preparation of shooting ranges for club activities

- Monitor clay target stock levels and report shortages

- General housekeeping and operational support around club facilities

- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times

Essential Requirements





- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate

- Good physical fitness and ability to undertake manual handling tasks

- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated

- Strong customer service and communication skills

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

- Right to work in Australia

Desirable (Not Essential)

- Previous hospitality, club, or bar experience

- Experience operating forklifts or handling palletised stock

- Knowledge of shooting sports or sporting club operations

- Approved Manager / Bar Manager's Licence (desirable but not required)
