About the role

Orange City Bowling Club LTD is seeking a Beverage and Gaming Manager to join our team on a casual basis. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to manage both our beverage operations and gaming facilities, ensuring exceptional service and patron experience at our Club. You will be responsible for overseeing bar and gaming areas, managing staff, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.

This is a dynamic position that combines hospitality expertise with operational management in a vibrant leisure and entertainment environment.

Key responsibilities

- Managing the day-to-day operations of the beverage service area, including stock management, ordering, and inventory control
- Supervising gaming machine operations and ensuring compliance with gaming legislation and club policies
- Leading and engaging bar / gaming staff, providing training, support and performance feedback
- Maintaining high standards of customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment for all club members and guests
- Handling cash management, reconciliations for beverages and gaming operations
- Monitoring compliance with liquor licensing laws, gaming regulations and responsible service of alcohol and advanced responsible conduct of gaming requirements.
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards across bar, gaming, and functions areas.
- Building positive relationships with members and addressing any customer concerns or complaints professionally

What we're looking for

- Proven experience working in hospitality, specifically in beverage and gaming management roles
- Strong knowledge of gaming machine operations and relevant gaming legislation in New South Wales
- Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification
- Experience supervising and managing hospitality staff in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to maintain professionalism and composure under pressure
- Strong numeracy skills with experience in cash handling,



and stock management
- Working knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems and hospitality management software
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
- Sound understanding of health and safety requirements in hospitality venues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams
