We are looking for Shot Crew / Blast Labourers to join our team based in Perth, working across local quarries with the opportunity for short-term remote work in Port Hedland and Karratha.

This role offers cross-training opportunities in Drill Rig Operations (Sandvik DP1100i) and Survey Technician roles, providing a clear career pathway for those looking to expand their skills in the Drill & Blast industry.

What We Offer

Perth-based role; Unique civil blasting project, and supplementary blasting at our already established quarries.

Occasional short-term remote work in Port Hedland & Karratha

Opportunity for adaptable rosters: Choose 5:2 or 5:2, 4:3

Full-time, permanent position with leave entitlements offered to promising candidates upon completion of the civil works.

Superannuation paid on all hours worked

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the safe preparation and handling of explosives Support Shot Firers in loading and stemming blast holes

Conduct blast area preparation and safety checks

Maintain blast sites, tools, and equipment

Follow safety procedures and environmental regulations

Work as part of a high-performing blast crew team

Training opportunities to operate drill rigs (Sandvik DP1100i) & survey equipment

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC) or willingness to obtain Current Manual Driver’s Licence (HR Licence advantageous)

Ability to perform physical labour in all weather conditions

Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and compliance

Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions A desire to develop skills in drilling and surveying

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
