We are seeking a motivated and experienced Beef Boning Room Manager, to oversee all business operations of our Flagship Beef operations at Murray Bridge, SA.

You’ll have the opportunity to manage and lead a growing and expanding business operation. You’ll promote cost-effective Boning Room activities that meet our targets and produce quality product, whilst also emphasising workplace health and safety, food/hygiene safety and legislative compliance.

Supervise production to ensure the products meet yield targets/orders and customers specifications whilst providing supervisors with support and training in this area. You’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact to the business.

About The Role

· Promote and ensure WHS and food safety are everyone’s focus

· Provide supervision, leadership and coaching to Supervisors, Team Leaders and teams to optimise performance and promote an inclusive culture of high performance





· Manage chiller assessors and ensure grading compliance

· Ensure the beef production is compliant with the customer specification

· Provide load advise to the cold store for completed orders

· Control of all beef recalls and manage all cold store returns

· Oversee yield performance with supervisors and provide dressing compliance to slaughter floor supervisors

· Respond to all customers' complaints and ensure supervisor and employee sign off

· Compile daily production reports and comment on exceptions

What We Are Looking For

· Formal qualifications in Meat or Food Processing or relevant experience, including Beef AUS-MEAT Level 2 Beef Specification

· Relevant Beef and Boning Room experience, commitment and capability to manage our Beef Boning Room

· Ability to lead teams through change and continuous improvement challenges

· High level communication and stakeholder engagement skills

· Effective delegation and time management skills
