Specialised Cylinder Repairs Pty Ltd (SCR) is a specialist hydraulic cylinder repair and manufacturing business based in Pakenham, Victoria. The role is focused on new business development across Melbourne and Victoria, including researching target companies, identifying decision makers, cold calling, face to face prospecting, customer visits and generating genuine new business opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Research and identify high-value industrial B2B target companies
- Identify and engage key decision makers
- Conduct cold calling and proactive face to face prospecting
- Arrange and attend customer meetings and site visits
- Develop new business opportunities and convert prospects into revenue-generating customers
- Build, manage and continuously develop a structured sales pipeline
- Maintain accurate Excel-based prospecting, pipeline and sales activity records
- Provide detailed weekly reports covering customer engagement, opportunities, pipeline progress and expected revenue
- Independently plan and manage weekly business development activities
- Consistently work towards agreed monthly and annual revenue KPIs
About you
- Confident, persistent,
organised and highly results driven
- Industrial B2B sales experience required
- Hydraulics experience is a big advantage but not essential
- Comfortable working to meet monthly performance targets and KPI's
- Proven experience in building, managing a structured B2B sales pipeline from initial prospecting through to customer acquisition.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with experience in maintaining sales activity reports, tracking opportunities, forecasting revenue and monitoring KPI performance.
- Highly organised and self-driven, with the ability to independantly plan, execute and report on business development activities with measurable results.
- Proven track record of acheiving sales targets and generating measurable recent business revenue in previous roles.
