Floral Image provides designer floral arrangements to businesses through a convenient monthly refresh service, allowing customers to enjoy beautiful workplace displays without the ongoing challenges of traditional fresh flowers.

We're looking for an energetic, commercially minded Business Development Manager to help grow our customer base across Brisbane, and surrounding areas.

This is a genuine new business development opportunity. You'll be out in the market, introducing Floral Image to prospective customers, creating interest and building relationships that translate into long-term business.

What you'll be doing

Your focus will be on identifying new opportunities, engaging prospective customers and building a sustainable pipeline of business.

You'll

- Research and identify suitable businesses throughout your territory.

- Conduct in-person prospecting, visiting businesses and introducing the Floral Image service.

- Present designer floral arrangements to prospective customers and demonstrate their suitability for the workplace.

- Arrange and coordinate complimentary two-week trials.

- Follow up with prospective customers and convert successful trials into ongoing business.





- Build relationships with local business owners, managers and decision-makers.

- Plan your territory and daily activities to maximise the quality of customer interactions.

- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, prospective customers and conversion outcomes.

- Work collaboratively with the local operations team to support a positive customer experience.

This isn't about driving around dropping off arrangements for the sake of meeting a number.

It's about understanding your market, identifying the right opportunities and making every interaction count.

What we're looking for

You'll be someone who genuinely enjoys developing new business.

You're confident walking into a business, starting a conversation and creating an opportunity where one didn't previously exist.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- Experience in business development, field sales, direct sales or another customer-facing commercial role.

- A proactive, self-motivated approach to generating new opportunities.

- Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.

- Confidence engaging with businesses across different industries.

- Sound organisation, territory planning and follow-up capability.

- The ability to work independently and remain accountable for results.





- A current Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.

You don't necessarily need to come from the floral, design or interiors industry.

We're interested in people with the right attitude, commercial instincts and genuine enthusiasm for getting out into the market.
