Mohr Café & Deli (Vision Mohr Pty Ltd) have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Café / Restaurant Manager to join our team in Burleigh Heads, QLD.

Mohr is a premium, chef-led café and deli (approx. 38 seats) trading seven days, with meal prep, catering and wholesale food operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Leading day-to-day front-of-house operations across breakfast and lunch service, ensuring a consistent, high-quality customer experience
- Recruiting, training, rostering and supervising front-of-house staff, keeping labour costs within budget and aligned to trading levels
- Monitoring sales, wage percentage and venue performance through POS reporting, and reporting results and recommendations to the owners
- Working closely with the Head Chef to coordinate service, menu changes, specials and quality standards between kitchen and floor
- Managing stock levels, ordering and supplier relationships for front-of-house, beverage and retail deli lines
- Overseeing cash handling, end-of-day reconciliations and banking procedures
- Ensuring the venue complies with food safety, WHS and relevant regulatory requirements
- Handling customer feedback and complaints, and building repeat and local trade




- Assisting with planning and executing promotions, events and new revenue streams alongside the management team

Applicants for this position should:

- Have relevant formal qualifications (e.g. Diploma of Hospitality Management or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of relevant full time experience, in addition to formal qualifications
- In some cases, a number of (3–5) years full-time employment may be considered in place of formal qualifications
- Demonstrated experience managing staff rosters and labour costs in a high-volume hospitality venue
- Confident using POS and rostering systems
- 2+ years barista experience
- Strong leadership, communication and customer service skills
- Availability to work weekends as part of a 7-day rotating roster

Remuneration $80,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation. Full-time, 38 hours per week plus reasonable additional hours.
