Contact Centre Operator (6-Month Contract)

Join a busy customer contact centre supporting essential services for the NSW community. We are seeking customer-focused professionals with robust communication skills and previous experience in customer service, administration or contact centre environments.

Location: Parramatta, NSW

Duration: 6 Month Contract

Rate: $37.50 per hour + Super

Hours: 35 hours per week (7 hours per day)

Start Date: December 2026

Key Responsibilities

- Handle inbound customer enquiries in a high-volume contact centre environment
- Provide accurate information and resolve customer issues professionally
- Maintain customer records across multiple systems
- Deliver excellent customer service while meeting performance requirements

About You

- 2-3 years' experience in customer service, call centre, retail or administration
- Strong verbal and written communication skills




- Previous office-based experience preferred
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook and Teams
- Confident using multiple computer systems and learning new technologies

Roster

- Rotating roster between 6:00am and 10:00pm
- Monday to Sunday, including weekends and public holidays
- Shift loadings may apply for eligible shifts

Additional Requirements

- NSW-based candidates only
- High-Risk Police Check
- Two professional reference checks

Hybrid work may be available following successful completion of training and competency assessment, subject to business requirements.
