Casual Quality Assurance Officers (multiple positions available)

You'll help ensure our almonds meet the quality and food safety standards expected by our customers. Working alongside our production team, these are hands-on roles suited to people who enjoy practical work, have a good eye for detail and take pride in getting things right.

Key responsibilities

- Conducting routine quality checks and inspections throughout the almond hulling and shelling process
- Collecting, inspecting and recording product samples to ensure quality standards are met
- Identifying and reporting product defects, contamination or quality concerns
- Maintaining accurate quality records and completing required documentation
- Supporting compliance with food safety procedures, hygiene requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Working closely with production employees and supervisors to address quality issues
- Assisting with monitoring, testing and other quality assurance activities as required
- Helping maintain a clean,



secure and organised working environment

About you

- Good attention to detail and the ability to identify quality issues
- A reliable, practical and safety-conscious approach to work
- Confidence following procedures and accurately recording information
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- A willingness to learn and take direction
- The ability to work in a busy processing environment
- Previous experience in food processing, manufacturing, agriculture or quality control would be an advantage, but is not essential
