About the role The Operations Supervisor role is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supporting Operations Manager in the day-to-day running of the business. The role is approximately 50% completing customer jobs and 50% supervising, training, equipment, quality and operational support.

The Operations

Supervisor will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure the team is well trained, equipment is maintained, quality standards are met and day-to-day operational issues are dealt with quickly.

Key responsibilities

- Complete carpet cleaning and related customer jobs to Butler Carpet Cleaning standards
- Provide excellent customer service
- Lead by example in workmanship, presentation, productivity and equipment care
- Assist technicians with difficult or technical jobs when required
- Train and onboard new technicians




- Provide ongoing coaching and practical training to the team
- Identify skills gaps and organise refresher training where needed
- Ensure technicians follow correct cleaning methods, chemical use and safety procedures
- Ensure machines, tools and vehicles are clean, maintained and ready for work
- Monitor the quality of work being completed by technicians

- An experienced and capable cleaning supervisor (Carpet Cleaning desirable but not essential)
- A solid communicator and team player
