Collegians RLFC The Chef is responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality food in line with Collegians’ standards, menus, and procedures. This role requires a strong focus on food quality, consistency, safety, teamwork, and efficient kitchen operations in a fast-paced club environment.

responsibilities Prepare, cook, and present food to a high standard across club menus Ensure consistency, portion control, and presentation meet brand standards Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness (HACCP) Assist with menu execution, specials, and functions as required Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service Minimise waste and assist with stock control and rotation Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workstation Assist with training and mentoring junior kitchen staff (where applicable) Qualification &

experience Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (Certificate III or above) Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen environment preferred Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations Understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays Robust teamwork, communication,



and time-management skills Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining quality About Company Collegians first opened its doors on the 9th July, 1963 and is now one of the most established & popular clubs within the Illawarra area for the past 50 years.
