We're on the lookout for an experienced Chef/Cook to join our kitchen team at The Captain's Daughter, a laid-back restaurant and bar in the heart of Peregian Beach.

We're all about great food, good vibes and a welcoming atmosphere. If you're confident in the kitchen, enjoy working with a close-knit team and can keep your cool when things get busy, we'd love to hear from you!

About the role

We're offering a casual position with approximately 38 hours per week, with additional shifts available during busy periods.

You'll be part of a friendly, hardworking team, preparing quality food and helping keep our kitchen running smoothly.

What you'll be doing

- Preparing and cooking delicious, consistent meals

- Working alongside the kitchen team to deliver effective service

- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe kitchen

- Helping things run smoothly during busy service periods

What we're looking for

- Previous experience working as a Chef or Cook in a commercial kitchen

- Confidence working independently and as part of a team

- Good knowledge of food preparation,



kitchen operations and food safety
- A reliable, hardworking attitude and a willingness to get stuck in

- Ability to stay organised and work well under pressure

- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including occasional weekends
