responsibilities Plan and design civil engineering works for residential construction and townhouse development projects. Conduct site assessments and evaluate ground conditions, levels and site constraints. Prepare civil engineering drawings, designs, calculations and technical specifications.

Design and assess stormwater drainage and site water management systems. Develop engineering solutions for earthworks, site grading and access infrastructure. Assess site feasibility and identify potential civil engineering constraints.

Review engineering plans and technical documentation to ensure design accuracy and compliance. Evaluate materials, construction methods and engineering specifications.



Monitor the technical quality of civil engineering works and conduct site inspections where required.

Identify engineering issues and recommend appropriate technical solutions. Liaise with architects, surveyors, consultants, builders and relevant authorities on engineering matters. Ensure civil engineering designs and works comply with applicable Australian Standards, building regulations and local authority requirements.

Qualification &

experience Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant engineering qualification. Relevant experience in civil engineering, preferably within residential construction or property development. Knowledge of civil engineering design principles, site development and infrastructure planning.

Understanding of stormwater drainage, earthworks and site grading. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, plans and technical specifications. Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, building regulations and local council requirements.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical communication skills. Ability to manage engineering tasks and work collaboratively with project stakeholders.
