responsibilities Prepare and update civil engineering drawings for residential construction projects. Draft site layouts, levels, drainage and stormwater plans as required. Interpret engineering sketches, survey information and design specifications.
Revise drawings to reflect design changes and project requirements. Check drawings for accuracy, dimensions and consistency. Maintain technical drawings and project documentation. Liaise with engineers, architects and construction teams to clarify design details.
Ensure drawings comply with relevant standards and project specifications. Qualification &
experience Relevant qualification in civil engineering drafting or a related field.
Experience preparing technical drawings for construction projects. Ability to interpret engineering plans, sketches and specifications. Understanding of site layouts, levels, drainage and stormwater plans. Robust attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and organisational skills. Knowledge of relevant Australian construction standards and documentation requirements.
