UGL Industrials seeking experienced Coded Welders to join our team for the 2027 Turnaround in Outback Queensland. Opportunities will commence from January 2027, with staggered start dates supporting early works and mobilisation ahead of the major March turnaround, continuing through to approx. mid to late April 2027.

Located approximately 150km south-east of Mount Isa, this site-based chance offers direct charter flights from Townsville, with additional points of hire available from Brisbane and Cairns.

During the pre-shutdown phase, the roster will be 8 days on, 6 days off, transitioning to 13 days on, 1 day off during execution. Day and Night shift opportunities are available.

To be considered for a role you will require the following skills, experience and attributes:

- Experience working in a similar role or Major Hazardous Facility

- Australian recognised Trade Qualification

- Drivers Licence

- Construction Induction Card

- High Risk Work Licence – LF, WP

- Confined space certificate valid within 3 years

- Working at heights certificate valid within 3 years
- A safety focused attitude
- The ability to work within and contribute to a productive,



cohesive team in a heavy industrial environment

- Ability to pass project-specific weld testing

This is a clean-shaven site. Successful applicants must be clean-shaven to comply with respiratory protection requirements.
