Full-Time Telecommunications Technician Assistant

Jortech Dynamics is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team in a full-time position. Previous industry experience is preferred; however, applicants with a robust work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday

8:15am to 4:45pm

Key Responsibilities

Assist technicians with the installation and maintenance of telecommunications equipment.

Install and maintain telephone and data cabling systems.

Assist with vehicle communication and tracking systems.

Install and maintain television reception and distribution systems.

Deploy generators to Government Radio Network (GRN) sites as required.

Work at heights, including on buildings and radio towers.

Travel and occasional overnight stays may be required.

Essential Skills and Qualifications





Current Driver's Licence.

White Card.

Working at Heights certification.

Interest or experience in IT and technology.

Experience in telecommunications or data cabling.

Desirable Qualifications

Open Cabling Registration.

Elevated Work Platform (EWP) licence.

Experience with radio communications and microwave systems.

Multimedia or audiovisual experience.

Electrical licence (advantageous but not essential).
