With a strong reputation for delivering practical, client-focused legal services, the firm acts on a diverse range of residential, commercial and property development transactions across Australia.
Offering a collaborative and supportive working environment, the firm is seeking an experienced Senior Conveyancer to help lead its conveyancing team.
About the Role:
This is a hands-on senior position combining conveyancing expertise with staff management and oversight of day-to-day operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing residential and commercial property transactions from initial instruction through to settlement.
- Handling off-the-plan transactions, including developer-related matters and subdivisions.
- Managing interstate conveyancing files across multiple Australian jurisdictions.
- Supervising, mentoring and supporting conveyancing staff, including allocating work and monitoring performance.
- Overseeing workflow, file volumes and deadlines to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Preparing and reviewing Contracts of Sale, Section 32 Vendor Statements and associated documentation.
- Coordinating electronic settlements through PEXA.
- Building strong relationships with clients, solicitors, developers and other stakeholders.
About You:
- Extensive experience as a Senior Conveyancer or Conveyancing Team Leader.
- Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring conveyancing staff.
- Solid end-to-end conveyancing experience, including off-the-plan transactions and interstate files.
- Excellent technical knowledge of property transactions, documentation and settlement processes.
- Proficiency in PEXA and relevant conveyancing software.
- Strong organisational, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to balance hands-on file management with team supervision and operational responsibilities.
