RS Horsham Pty Ltd Yorke Valley Hotel, SA, 5573, a well-regarded establishment known for its hearty meals and friendly atmosphere, is seeking a full time qualified Cook to join our kitchen team. Benefits Task &

responsibilities Preparing, seasoning, and cooking food items including meats, vegetables, dishes, and desserts across all meal services. Portioning food, arranging, and garnishing dishes for presentation. Monitoring food quality during preparation and service to ensure standards of taste, presentation, and portion control are maintained.

Assisting with menu planning and suggesting seasonal additions, in collaboration with senior kitchen staff. Managing food stock levels, checking deliveries, and ensuring proper storage. Reducing food wastage and assisting in controlling food costs.





Ensuring kitchen cleanliness and compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WH&S; standards. Supporting junior staff by providing clear guidance during service periods. Cleaning kitchen equipment and work areas to maintain sanitation standards.

Qualification &

experience Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent. Minimum 1 year of full-time experience working as a Cook in a similar commercial kitchen environment. Proven ability to maintain high standards under pressure. Sound knowledge of safe food handling procedures and kitchen hygiene practices. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
