Annapurna Restaurants Pty Ltd We are looking for a skilled Cook to prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes while maintaining food quality, consistency, and kitchen standards. The successful candidate will work closely with the Chef and kitchen team to support daily food preparation and service operations.

responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of traditional Indian dishes, including curries and other menu items. Prepare ingredients, sauces, and spice blends according to established recipes. Apply traditional Indian cooking techniques to ensure consistent food quality and flavour.

Adjust food preparation to accommodate specific dietary requirements. Maintain appropriate food presentation and portion standards. Follow kitchen procedures, food safety, and hygiene requirements. Monitor ingredient freshness and assist with stock rotation.

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and work areas. Work collaboratively with the Chef and other kitchen staff during daily service. Qualification &





experience Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent practical experience. Previous experience working as a Cook in an Indian restaurant is essential. Demonstrated experience preparing a variety of authentic Indian dishes, particularly curry-based dishes.

Knowledge of traditional Indian spices, seasoning, and cooking techniques. Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent food quality. Understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards. Good communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
