Roles and Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM tools.
- Identify and investigate potential security incidents.
- Analyze logs and detect suspicious activities.
- Perform basic vulnerability assessments.
- Respond to security incidents and escalate critical issues.
- Monitor firewalls, antivirus, and endpoint security tools.
- Prepare security incident reports and documentation.
- Follow cybersecurity policies and best practices.
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, DNS, and firewalls.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and threats.
- Familiarity with SIEM tools such as Splunk, QRadar, or Microsoft Sentinel.
- Basic understanding of Windows and Linux.
- Knowledge of incident response and vulnerability management.
