About the role

Support clients in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) home by providing compassionate, person-centred assistance across sleepover shifts and day-to-day care needs. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by promoting client wellbeing, independence and quality of life.

Key responsibilities

- Work sleepover shifts in a SIL home.

- Provide personal care and daily living support as required.

- Support clients in a respectful, compassionate and person-centred manner.

- Work independently and respond appropriately to issues as they arise.

- Use problem-solving skills to manage changing client needs and situations.

- Maintain a safe, supportive and inclusive home environment.

- Demonstrate flexibility and availability to accommodate short-notice work requirements.





What we're looking for

- Experience working in the disability, community services or related care industry is preferred.

- Relevant qualifications are preferred.

- Ability to work alone and use sound judgement when problem-solving.

- Passion for supporting clients and contributing positively to their lives.

- Confidence providing personal care and support with daily living activities.

- High availability and flexibility, including the capacity to accept short-notice shifts.

- Solid communication, reliability and a commitment to respectful client support.
