Disability Support Worker Needed

Location: Lakemba, NSW, Australia

Days: Wednesday and Thursday

Hours: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Pay Rate: $35 AUD per hour

Employment Type: Fixed and Ongoing Shifts

About the Role

We are seeking a caring, patient, reliable, and responsible Disability Support Worker to support an 11-year-old boy with Autism.

The successful candidate will provide assistance with daily activities, learning, outdoor recreation, swimming, and social participation in a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the child with homework and educational activities.
- Accompany the child to the park and support outdoor activities.
- Engage the child in play and recreational activities.
- Support and supervise swimming activities.
- Drive the child to activities when required.
- Encourage social interaction, communication, and independence.
- Maintain a protected, positive, and supportive environment.

Requirements
- Must be confident and capable of swimming.
- Must hold a valid driver's license and be able to drive.




- Previous experience supporting children with Autism is preferred.
- Must be patient, friendly, caring, and responsible.
- Preferred age range: 35–40 years.
- Candidates from Bangladeshi, Indian, or Pakistani cultural backgrounds are preferred.

Work Schedule
- Wednesday: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Thursday: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Total: 4 hours per week
- Ongoing fixed shifts.
