Casual Position | 25–29 November 2026 | Short-Term Opportunity

National Disability Care (NDC) is looking for experienced, reliable and compassionate Disability Support Workers to provide support to an adult participant with high physical support needs in Ulladulla, NSW.

This is a short-term opportunity working as part of a two-person team, providing secure, respectful and person-centred support.

About the Role

Location: Ulladulla, NSW

Dates: Wednesday 25 November to Sunday 29 November 2026

Employment Type: Casual

Estimated Hours: Approximately 3–4 hours per day, with additional hours potentially available depending on support requirements.

The role involves supporting an adult participant living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND), primarily assisting with morning and evening personal care routines.

Expected Support Hours

- Morning: 8:30am – 10:30am
- Evening: 7:30pm – 8:30pm

Support is provided on a 2:1 basis, meaning two support workers will be rostered together. Hours may vary slightly depending on the participant's needs and final roster.

Duties May Include:

- Showering, dressing and personal care
- Toileting and bowel care support
- Medication administration
- Hoist transfers and manual handling
- Mobility assistance
- Pressure care and repositioning
- Meal preparation
- Following individual care plans and support procedures
- Accurate documentation and progress notes

- Experienced with hoist transfers and manual handling
- Comfortable assisting with bowel care

- Able to follow care plans and clinical support protocols

Experience supporting participants with MND or similar high physical support needs is highly regarded.

- Current First Aid & CPR
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Reliable transport
- Smartphone
- Excellent communication skills
- Right to work in Australia
