About the Role

Based at our winery in the Riverland, we are seeking a motivated person to join our site electrical maintenance team as an Electrical Apprentice.

This position is open to both new candidates looking to start an Electrical Apprenticeship and existing apprentices seeking to transfer or continue their training in an industrial environment.

Working alongside our experienced A-Class Electricians and maintenance team, you will gain comprehensive, hands-on experience in industrial trade maintenance, automation, plant diagnostics, and machinery installations within a modern production facility.

The successful applicant will have excellent problem-solving skills, be self-motivated, possess a positive ’can-do’ attitude, and share the values of our Company: Accountability, Teamwork, Continuous Improvement, Integrity, and Respect.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

- Equipment Diagnostics & Repair: Assist qualified sparkies with fault-finding, troubleshooting, and repairing winery process machinery.

- Preventative Maintenance: Help execute routine PM schedules, system inspections, and electrical tag & testing to keep the site running smoothly.

- Installations: Assist with installing, wiring, and commissioning new electrical equipment and site infrastructure.

- Schematics & Planning: Learn to read, interpret, and work from electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.

- Safety & Compliance:



Adhere strictly to site isolation (LOTO) procedures, SafeWork SA guidelines, and company safety standards.

Skills & Requirements
- Apprenticeship Commitment: Genuine desire and commitment to commence or complete an Electrical Apprenticeship.

- Existing Apprentices: Current TAFE/RTO progress and trade modules will be fully recognized for existing apprentices looking to transfer.

- Aptitude: Solid numerical/mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn industrial electrical systems.

- Licence & Mobility: Current Driver’s Licence (or reliable transport to site).

- Key Attributes: Strong work ethic, good communication skills, practical problem-solving ability, and a safety-first mindset.
