Join the engineering team of a well established global equipment manufacturer, designing and delivering electrical and control systems for industrial machinery sold to customers across Australia and overseas.
The role
- Own the electrical design of customer projects from sales handover through to commissioning
- Produce electrical schematics, panel layouts and bills of materials
- Develop and test PLC and HMI software for machine control
- Specify and select components, and work with suppliers and the in-house build team
- Act as the main technical contact for customers throughout the project
- Support factory acceptance testing, site installation and commissioning
About you
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (RPEQ or CPEng highly regarded)
- Background at an equipment manufacturer (OEM) or machine builder, with hands-on design ownership
- Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN
- PLC experience in Siemens TIA Portal or Rockwell Studio 5000
- Confident working directly with customers and managing your own projects
