Apprentices with Rhomberg Sersa Australia will gain the relevant knowledge, skills, and experience as well as a nationally recognised qualification.

While undertaking Electrical Fitter Mechanic – Resurfacing apprenticeships - Certificate III in Electrotechnology (Electrical Fitter) or Certificate III in Electrical Fitting

Our Apprentices will

- Gain the opportunity to work on the development & maintenance of major electrical infrastructure (Tamping Machines), maintain machines and high-powered engines (Tamping Machines),



work as a boilermaker & welder (Heavy Fabrication) or maintaining rail traction wiring systems (Rail Traction).

- Get paid while earning a nationally recognised qualification

- Be mentored by industry leaders

- Learn on the job & build valuable practical skills

About you

- Recent school leaver or individual interested in Rail Construction & Maintenance

- Have or working towards obtaining a Driver’s Licence
- A Team player, with a positive, can-do attitude

- Hold a high regard for safety by following safe work practices
- A robust desire to learn & develop a range of new skills

- Able to work a rotating roster including nights and weekends

- Have full Australian Working Rights

- Be able to pass a pre-employment Rail Category 3 medical assessment, including drug & alcohol test

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Proven basic computer literacy skills

- Able to commence full time employment in January 2027
