Astill's Electrical is growing, and we're looking for a qualified Electrician with either solar accreditation or air-conditioning qualifications to join our team in Maryborough!

If you're a motivated sparky who enjoys variety, takes pride in quality workmanship and doesn't mind travelling when the job calls for it, we'd love to hear from you.

With a mix of general electrical, solar and air-conditioning work across residential and commercial properties, you'll have the prospect to put your skills to good use, tackle different challenges and be part of a supportive team.

The Opportunity

You'll be delivering quality electrical services across Maryborough and surrounding regions, with travel to other locations as required to support our operations.

Your day-to-day will include:

- Completing general electrical installations, repairs, maintenance and fault-finding.
- Undertaking solar installations, testing and commissioning where appropriately accredited.
- Installing, servicing and fault-finding air-conditioning systems where appropriately qualified and licensed.
- Diagnosing electrical faults and delivering practical, reliable solutions.
- Working across residential and commercial properties.
- Travelling to other locations when required to support projects and operational needs.
- Completing accurate job documentation, testing records and customer handovers.
- Maintaining safe work practices and high standards of workmanship.
- Working independently and collaboratively with the wider team.

What You'll Bring

Essential:

- Current Queensland Electrical Work Licence.
- Either current SAA solar PV installation accreditation OR relevant air-conditioning qualifications and refrigerant handling licence.
- Experience in general electrical installations, repairs and fault-finding.
- Construction Industry White Card.
- Current driver's licence.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel when required.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a team.
- Good communication, organisation and time management skills.

Highly regarded:

- Both solar and air-conditioning qualifications.
- Commercial electrical experience.
- Experience working across regional locations.
