Astill's Electrical is growing its Brisbane team, and we're looking for an experienced Electrician with an air-conditioning ticket who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys a challenge!

With a strong pipeline of insurance work, you'll be kept busy with everything from emergency make-protected callouts and fault-finding to insurance repairs, rectification work and air-conditioning installations.

This isn't a role where you'll be doing the same thing day in, day out!

One day you could be responding to an urgent electrical make-safe, the next diagnosing a tricky fault, completing insurance repairs or installing a split-system air conditioner.

We're looking for someone who can think on their feet, work independently, adapt to changing priorities and take pride in delivering quality workmanship.

The Opportunity

Your work will include

- Attending insurance-related make-safe jobs and electrical callouts.
- Diagnosing faults, assessing damage and carrying out safe, practical repairs.
- Completing insurance rectification and reinstatement work.
- Installing, servicing and fault-finding split-system air conditioners.
- Undertaking general electrical maintenance, repairs and installations.
- Managing a varied workload across multiple locations and changing job priorities.
- Communicating professionally with customers, supervisors and the wider team.
- Completing accurate job documentation and maintaining high safety standards.

What You'll Bring

Essential:

- Current Queensland Electrical Work Licence.
- Air-conditioning qualifications and appropriate refrigerant handling licence.
- Experience in electrical maintenance, repairs and fault-finding.
- Construction Industry White Card and current driver's licence.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to respond to changing priorities.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Highly regarded:

- Experience in insurance make-safe, emergency response or rectification work.
- Residential and commercial maintenance experience.
- Solar or battery installation experience.
