Our client, a local council based in Rooty Hill, NSW, is looking for an experienced Electrician to join their team!

Your duties will include

- Carrying out electrical maintenance, repairs and installations across Council buildings and facilities

- Inspecting electrical assets and recording maintenance requirements

- Testing and tagging electrical equipment

- Maintaining field lighting on sporting reserves, netball and tennis courts

- Installing new field lighting systems as required

- Providing guidance and supervision to apprentices

- Maintaining accurate work, purchasing and service records

- Following all workplace health and safety procedures

- Monday to Friday | 6:45am - 4:00pm

- $45 per hour

- Ongoing, full time hours

To be successful you will need:





- Electrical trade qualification (Electrical Trade Certificate)

- Current NSW Electrical Contractor's Licence

- Completed electrical apprenticeship with sufficient post-trade experience

- Current NSW Class C Driver's Licence

- Strong electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skills

- Experience carrying out electrical maintenance, inspections and installations

- Good communication and record-keeping skills

- Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements

- Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently and as part of a team

- Full Australian working rights
