North Kellyville Medical Centre is seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse to join our general practice team in a permanent, full-time position. Working under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will provide protected, person-centred nursing care and collaborate with general practitioners and other healthcare professionals to support patients’ health and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities Provide delegated nursing care within your qualifications, competence and Enrolled Nurse scope of practice. Record patient observations, including vital signs, and promptly report changes or concerns to the supervising Registered Nurse and treating practitioner. Assist with wound care, dressings and minor procedures in accordance with care plans and clinical protocols.

Administer prescribed medications where authorised, appropriately trained and competent, in accordance with applicable requirements and practice policies. Support chronic disease management and preventive healthcare activities under Registered Nurse direction. Reinforce patient education and care instructions provided by the clinical team.

Prepare treatment rooms, equipment and clinical supplies, maintaining infection prevention and control standards. Maintain accurate patient records and protect patient privacy and confidentiality. Recognise and escalate clinical deterioration and assist with emergency responses within your training and scope.

Participate in clinical handovers, quality improvement and ongoing professional development.

Essential requirements Diploma of Nursing or an equivalent qualification recognised for Enrolled Nurse registration in Australia.



Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia through Ahpra. 3–5 years of relevant nursing experience. Demonstrated skills in patient observations, wound care and clinical documentation.

Sound understanding of Enrolled Nurse scope of practice, delegation and Registered Nurse supervision requirements. Strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills. Knowledge of infection prevention, patient confidentiality and safe clinical practice.

Current CPR certification. Ability to use electronic patient records and clinical software. Desirable experience Experience in general practice, primary healthcare or a comparable clinical setting.

Experience supporting chronic disease management and treatment room procedures. Familiarity with general practice clinical software. Employment conditions This is an ongoing, permanent full-time position offering $80,000–$90,000 per annum, plus superannuation, depending on qualifications and experience. Employment conditions will comply with the applicable award or industrial instrument.
