Australian Industry Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre in Lara is offering a hands-on apprenticeship in mechanical engineering. You will assist qualified staff with machine maintenance, disassembly/reassembly of components, and learn lathe work and basic machining in a real workshop.

No prior experience required. The role supports a 4‑year apprenticeship, with mentoring from experienced tradespeople and the Australian Apprenticeship Support Loan to assist with living costs.
