Secure Edge QLD About the Role Safe Edge QLD is seeking an experienced Equipment Hire Manager to manage and coordinate the operational requirements associated with the hire, availability, maintenance and control of our equipment. The successful candidate will ensure that equipment is properly maintained, available when required and allocated efficiently to meet customer and operational requirements.

Key Duties The successful candidate will be responsible for: managing equipment availability, stock levels, condition and maintenance; coordinating equipment hire bookings, allocations, collections and returns; communicating with customers regarding equipment requirements and hire arrangements; preparing and managing equipment hire quotations and agreements; arranging the purchase of equipment, replacement parts and related supplies; liaising with suppliers, contractors and service providers; maintaining equipment registers, maintenance records and operational documentation; ensuring equipment complies with safety requirements and relevant industry standards; supervising and coordinating staff involved in equipment preparation,



hire and return activities; monitoring equipment utilisation and operational efficiency; developing and reviewing procedures relating to equipment hire and customer service; and reporting to management regarding equipment requirements, maintenance and operational performance.

Skills and Qualifications Applicants must have: at least 1 year of relevant experience in equipment hire, equipment operations or a closely related management role ; Diploma of Business Management , or an equivalent relevant Diploma-level qualification; strong organisational and operational management skills;

experience coordinating equipment, suppliers and customer requirements; demonstrated ability to supervise staff and manage operational priorities; strong communication and customer-service skills; and sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
