What is the role?

There is now an exciting opportunity for an Expeditor to join the Production Planning team on a permanent full-time basis.

This hands-on role supports the planning and expediting of sales order line items and production orders to help RME achieve customer delivery commitments. You will monitor priorities, identify potential delays early and work across teams to keep production and customer orders moving.

This role will suit someone who takes ownership, works with urgency and enjoys influencing outcomes across a busy manufacturing environment.

Working closely with manufacturing, supply and other key stakeholders, you will coordinate actions, communicate risks and find practical solutions when delivery dates are at risk. You will also support production scheduling, capacity planning, ERP data integrity and continuous improvement activities.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- At least five years’ experience in a quality production, manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Demonstrated inventory management and reduction experience.
- Knowledge of Lean, Kanban and Just-In-Time systems.
- Experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning system, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Strong planning, prioritisation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build productive relationships across teams.

The ideal candidate may also possess:

- Experience implementing Lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Working knowledge of material sciences.
- Experience coordinating people or resources to achieve project or production goals.

LICENCES

· Possession of a current QLD ‘C’ Class Open Driver’s Licence
