Facilities Manager | Complex Industrial Facility – Based in Adelaide

Your new company An established organisation is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to take responsibility for a large and technically complex industrial facility in Adelaide. This is an initial temporary opportunity with genuine potential to transition into a permanent position for the right person.

Your new role

You will take ownership of the day-to-day facilities and maintenance requirements of a complex operational site. Working closely with internal stakeholders, contractors and specialist service providers, you will ensure the facility remains safe, compliant, reliable and operational.

Key responsibilities will include:

Managing planned and reactive maintenance across the facility

Overseeing mechanical, electrical, HVAC and other critical building services

Managing contractors, trades and specialist service providers

Ensuring statutory compliance, safety and maintenance requirements are achieved

Coordinating asset maintenance programs and lifecycle requirements

Supporting minor works, upgrades and capital projects

Managing maintenance budgets, quotes and contractor performance

Identifying opportunities to improve asset reliability and operational performance

What you'll need to succeed





You will have experience managing a complex industrial, manufacturing, engineering, logistics or similarly technical facility. A trade or engineering background would be highly regarded, particularly where you have progressed into facilities, maintenance or asset management.

You will ideally bring

A trade qualification, engineering background or solid technical experience

Experience managing a large and technically complex facility

Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical services, plant and infrastructure

Experience coordinating preventative and reactive maintenance

Strong contractor and stakeholder management skills A practical, hands-on approach to facilities management

Strong knowledge of WHS and compliance requirements
