Roofing Options is a family-owned Melbourne roofing and cladding supplier. We make our own Colorbond flashings and cladding in our Campbellfield factory and supply roofers and builders across Melbourne. We're busy, growing, and looking for a reliable worker to join the factory team.
No folding experience? No problem.
We'll train you on our folders from day one. Some of our best operators started with no experience at all. What we can't teach is reliability & work ethic, and that's what we're really hiring for.
The role
- Learning to run our folders to make Colorbond flashings and cladding to order
- Reading order sheets and measuring accurately
- Checking your work so it's right before it leaves the factory
- Helping out around the factory and keeping your area clean and secure
What we're looking for
- Reliable and on time, every day
- Takes pride in doing the job right
- Good with basic numbers
- Happy doing hands-on, physical work
- Factory, warehouse or trade background (a bonus)
- Folder or sheet metal experience (a bonus, not essential)
What we offer
- Award rates to start, with a pay rise once you're trained and signed off on the folder
- Day shift, Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:06pm (7.6 hours plus lunch)
- Full training from experienced operators
- Steady full-time work with a growing local business
How to apply
Apply through this ad. Shortlisted applicants will be invited in for a short aptitude test, followed by a hands-on try at the folder.
