The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Diesel Fitter to join our close-knit Engines team in Mackay, specialising in the overhaul and repair of Cummins and Caterpillar diesel engines.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who enjoys getting stuck into engine rebuilds and takes pride in producing quality work.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Carrying out complete strip-downs, inspections, repairs and overhauls of Cummins and Caterpillar diesel engines.
- Diagnosing faults, assessing component wear and identifying repair requirements.
- Inspecting,



measuring and reassembling engine components to required specifications.
- Ensuring all rebuilds meet our high standards of quality, safety and workmanship.
- Working collaboratively with the team to deliver quality rebuilds on time.

About You

- Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter, Heavy Diesel Mechanic or equivalent.
- Previous experience rebuilding and overhauling Cummins and Caterpillar diesel engines is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent fault-finding skills.
- High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
- A proactive attitude, strong work ethic and ability to work well within a team.
